Betsey Bell – Executive Assistant

Betsey Bell


Betsey Bell joined the staff of the General Convention Office as the new executive assistant to the president of the House of Deputies in mid-October 2012. She will serve the church and the office of the president from her home in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Prior to joining the staff, Betsey was the assistant to the rector at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Cleveland Heights for nearly a decade. She is also a conference administrator for CREDO.

Betsey has been married to her husband, Lloyd, for 23 years and they have two sons. Betsey is active in both of her sons’ schools as well as the Cleveland Heights community, where she serves on several local boards.

In her spare time, Betsey enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, curling and reading. She is a huge Ohio State football fan.

She is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio, where she met her husband the first week of freshman year. Following graduation she was a manager for Franklin Quest (now Franklin Covey) and assisted people with time management.
