Ryan Kusumoto serves as president and CEO of Parents And Children Together (PACT), a Hawaii-based not-for-profit family service agency. Their mission is dedicated to serving Hawaii’s vulnerable and at-risk individuals and families. In this capacity, he oversees a wide array of innovative and educational social service offerings, including programs related to domestic violence, child abuse, sex trafficking, early childhood education, mental health, community-building and poverty prevention.
Prior to PACT, Ryan spent 7 years with Goodwill Industries of Hawaii, serving in various human services and executive roles. Ryan also operated a small private business and worked in hospital administration at Hawaii Pacific Health and the Queen’s Medical Center.
Ryan serves on various boards in Hawaii and the continental United States. These include Hawaii Employers Mutual Insurance Company (Worker’s Compensation), Employer’s Protective Insurance Company (Temporary Disability Insurance), Camp Mokuleia (Diocesan Camp), Protecting Hawaii’s Ohana, Children, Under-Served, Elderly, and Disabled (Human Service Advocacy Organization), the 501(c)Trust (National Nonprofit Unemployment Trust), and The Church Pension Fund (Episcopal Pension Fund). Ryan has served as a deputy for five General Conventions and remains active in various leadership roles in the Diocese of Hawaii.
Ryan is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa and resides in Honolulu with his two daughters.
