Cada tres años, la Convención General de la Iglesia Episcopal se reúne para considerar las actividades legislativas de la iglesia. La Convención General, que incluye la Cámara de Obispos y la Cámara de Diputados, es el principal órgano directivo y legislativo de la iglesia.
