Dear Deputies,
In this ever-changing world, we often find ourselves at the intersection of faith, hope, despair, and sadness. These heartfelt words, Son of God who takes away the sin of the world have mercy,” remind us of the infinite love and support we can rely on, especially in challenging times.
During these unpredictable moments, always know that you’re not facing them by yourself. Our Holy God is with us, giving comfort and strength. When things get hard, know that God is there for those who are hurting and helps those feeling down.
Today, many voices want to be heard, each saying their truth. Yet, the voice of our shepherd, Jesus’ whisper to you and me. A whisper inviting us to be rooted in the power of love, to be rooted in the power of kindness, and to be rooted in the power of compassion.
Let these teachings comfort you and push you to act. They ask us to show Jesus’ love to a world that needs it.
So, as your chaplain, I invite you, I challenge you.: As events unfold today, be the light in the dark. Speak with calm in the noise. Act with love when there’s hate. And always remember, even in tough times, the Son of God is with you, with me, with us, offering kindness and asking us to do the same for others.
On this journey, I pray you find the strength to face today’s challenges, the strength to help those in pain, and that you find strength to be a source of hope for those in need. By doing this, you honor our faith and make the future brighter.

Creator Spirit, Holy God,
We gather carrying burdens, our hearts weighed down by experiences that have left us bruised and scarred. In our vulnerability, we reach out for Your comforting embrace. We remember Your promise in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” May these sacred words resound in the depth of our being, bringing healing to our wounded hearts.
We yearn for the Holy Spirit to heal the places within that ache, to mend the shattered pieces of trust, and to restore the joy that has been stolen. In Your boundless love, You see us, You hear our cries, and You are with us in our struggle. You are the gentle light that guides us through the fog of despair towards a place of peace, healing, and renewed strength.
Loving Creator, may Your abiding presence be a balm to our weary souls, reassuring us that we are never alone in our journey.

Estimados Diputados,
En este mundo en constante cambio, a menudo nos encontramos en la intersección de la fe, la esperanza, la desesperación y la tristeza. Estas sentidas palabras: “Hijo de Dios, que quitas el pecado del mundo, ten piedad”, nos recuerdan el amor y el apoyo infinitos en los que podemos confiar, especialmente en tiempos difíciles.

Recordamos Tu promesa en el Salmo 34:18: “El Señor está cerca de los quebrantados de corazón y salva a los abatidos de espíritu”. Que estas palabras sagradas resuenen en lo más profundo de nuestro ser, trayendo sanación a nuestros corazones heridos.
